Silkroad Connect began in 2009 as a program administered by Silkroad in partnership with the New York City public schools. The focus of the program – passion driven learning!
Here is when it started!
In the beginning we worked with the teachers!
Then we worked with the kids!
At the end of the school year the children put on a performance. It was amazing to have seen the change in these kids over the school year!
What an honor for these kids to perform on SummerStage in NYC!
