About our Natural Dyes, Mordants and Assists

 Natural Dyes

We carry several “clear” tannins. These are used to aid in mordanting cellulose, in conjunction with Titanium Oxalate to give oranges and in conjunction with iron to create beautiful grays.

  • Potassium Aluminum Sulfate (Alum)
  • Titanium Oxalate

Several color changers are available

  • Chalk (Calcium Carbonate)
